How to remove write protection from a USB flash drive

Today i will show how to remove write protection from a USB flash drive (pendrive).When a pendrive is write protected, no files cannot be copied to it. It cannot be formatted also.When ever you will try to format the pendrive it will show you an error message -"Disk is Write Protected" exactly like the picture show below 

 In order to format the penndrive and remove the write protection you need to do the following steps below:

First check whether the USB drive has a write protection switch on the bottom or the sides of the drive If it has a write protection switch then push the switch to the unlock position.Then insert the pendrive to your pcs USB port & go to "My computer".select that USB drive and right click on it and then Click on the Format.A dialog box will appear exactly like the picture below 

 

click on the start button and your USB drive will be formatted. 

If above method doesnt work then you have to remove the write protection manually.In order to do this ..do the following steps below.

Step 1

Open the Start menu & go to "run".Type "regedit "& press enter or click on OK.This will open the windows registry editor.

Step 2

Navigate to the following path - " HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlStorageDevicePolicies " 

 Step 3 

After that Double-click on the "WriteProtect" value in the right-hand pane of the  Regedit.exe. Change the Value data from 1 to 0 and then click OK to save the change.

Step 4 

Close Regedit exe and remove your USB drive .Then restart your PC. 

Step 5

After restarting you pc connect your USB drive again and u will find it is not longer right protected.Then format the USB drive manually in the normal way by right clicking on it and choosing Format.

Note- 

Sometimes you may find that StorageDevicePolicies doesnt exist .In such cases you need to create it manually. In order to do this. simply right click on the black spaces of the control folder & choose New -> key and enter the following name "StorageDevicePolicies" 

Now Double click on the new key and right click then choose New -> DWORD.Name it WriteProtect  then set the value to 0.Then click ok,exit regedit & reboot your pc..Hope this will work... :)

Google play wont allow us to download any app or game using our computer. The only way they allowed is using an Android phone with Google Play or Android Market. It will be very hard for Android users if they dont have a WiFi or a better 3G plan at home. Here comes the solution you can download the Free Apps or Games APK from Google Play using APK Downloader (Chrome extension).

In this post I included the some of the best available working methods which are used among many Android users. The post will update on each new method releases.

Note :
- Dont use your personal Gmail ID with this extension.
- Create a dummy gmail id.
- Add it to your phone as the default account for the play store app
- Use your correct device id

Update1:
According to some users Chrome Plugin APK Downloader not working for them. So I am updated the post with another alternate working method which is using a Java app called Realt APK Leecher by Nhat Cuong DevTeam.

Download Apk from Google Play using online apk downloader.

1. Go to http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/
2. In the page, Copy paste the Google Play URL of the app or game in the textbox and hit Generate Download Link.



The link generation may take up to 5 minute depends by the size of the apk....wait till it returns the download link.

3. Finally, Click on Click here to download com.example.appname now button.



Thats it...now the download will start automatically.

Method 2

Download Apk from Google Play using APK Downloader (Chrome Plugin)

1. Download the latest version of APK Downloader extension from the developer website.
2. Open chrome://extensions/ and drag the downloaded file in to that page.
3. Click Add on the confirm extension install.
4. After Install..Click Options link below APK Downloader extension.



5. It will open a new chrome tab to enter login information. Where enter the fields below.



Email - use the Gmail id which should be the primary Gmail id in your device.
Password - dummy Gmails password
Android Device ID - enter your device id ( to get device ID dial *#*#8255#*#* or use GTalk Service app from Google Play )



6. Click Login...Done ..( You can set the Country and SIM operator by clicking show advanced settings )
7. Now go to Google Play and open the App or Game you want to download.
8. Finally click on the APK Downloader icon in the right side of the address bar.



Thats it...!

Method 3

Download Apk from Google Play using Real APK Leecher (Java App)

1. Download and install JRE (Java Run time environment ) - Download
(Skip this step if you all ready installed JRE)
2. Download and Extract Latest version Real APK Leecher - Download
3. Open Real APK Leecher.exe
4. Now it will ask you to enter Email , Password , Device id ,default country etc..enter it same as method 1s 5th step...and click Save.

Thats it ..in the next screen you can search and download the desired apps and games.

1. A site owner gets paid when a visitor clicks on an ad.

This model, called pay per click (PPC), is the one most commonly offered to entrepreneurs. For the advertiser, this is the cost-per-click(CPC) model. The goal is for your visitor to be redirected to the site or product being advertised. The average click-through rate hovers around 5 percent, with a payment of a few cents for each, so don’t expect to get rich quick on this one.

2. Get paid every time an ad is displayed on your site.

With this model, advertisers pay for the number of times an ad is shown regardless of whether it is clicked on. Technically, this is calledpay per view (PPV), pay per impression (PPI) or pay per mille (PPM), which is a thousand impressions. Advertisers see this as cost per impression (CPI) or cost per mille (CPM). Advertisers pay even less for this one, since they don’t like to pay when your visitor ignores their ads.

3. Your visitor must take action on ad before payment.

With this variation, no payment comes to you until your visitor get redirected to the ad site and performs a desired action there, such as filling out a registration form. This is called pay per action (PPA) or pay per lead (PPL). The advertiser sees it as cost per acquisition (CPA) or pay per performance (PPP). This model arose a few years ago to mitigate the risks of click fraud.

4. Share of revenue from ad action initiated by your visitors.

This is a variation of the preceding model, called performance-based compensation. It has the best potential to maximize your income, but the results are totally unpredictable. Advertisers see it as a method of shifting the risk on untested ads or products to you, so do your homework.

5. Fixed compensation rate for a specified time period.

This approach is the most predictable way to anticipate revenue from advertisers. You simply negotiate a fixed price per day for displaying the ad on your site, which advertisers see as cost per day (CPD), independent of the ad’s visibility or your visitor response. But rest assured that the advertiser will be measuring results, so a long-term revenue stream is not so predictable.

It’s also important to know that advertising delivery technology has come a long way in the past few years. The ads you see from day to day may change as your site content changes, and every visitor may see a different ad based on their profile and interests. Now ad space is often auctioned to the highest bidder in the few milliseconds while your page is being built.

But all this doesn’t change the reality that it’s hard to make any money on ads in the early days of a new startup. Even Facebook required nearly five years and 300 million users before it became cash-flow positive from advertising. With the competition today for ads on popular sites such as Twitter, the probability of new sites building a big revenue stream from ads is even lower.

So if you want to make money like Facebook from ads, your first step is to grow a very large visitor base, funded by a revenue stream other than advertising, or investors with a strong ongoing commitment to your success. In other words, it’s time to think of advertising revenue as a benefit of your success, not the source of it.
