Always backup all data and file stored on your Microsoft Lumia device (recommended).
A Microsoft Lumia device incorporating Microsoft Windows Phone 8, Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 or Microsoft Windows 10 Mobile as operating system.
At least 10 GB free space on computer disk.
Download Windows device recovery tool software, this tool is called WindowsDeviceRecoveryTool3.3.31.exe.

How to install Windows Device Recovery Tool.

Once WindowsDeviceRecoveryTool3.3.31.exe successfully downloaded, now you can excecute this file,
Then you will see a new window appear on your screen.
Now, From this window, click on the Install button.

Then the process will return to the installation of Windows Device Recovery Tool.
Just wait for second for this installation process until finish. This process will download all necessery program for your

Thick on I accept the terms in Liccense Agreement and click Next.

If youve finished the installation process, you should see this windows appear.

Download 64 Bit Checker & Determine the OS Architecture.

This tool used to check which OS architecture used by your computer or laptop
Now, Execute the 64bitChecker1.5.0.exe file.
Now, you will see the 64bit checker window appear on screen.

Download Lumia Firmware.

How To Install Package ?.

To install the package on Microsoft Lumia, you must connect your Microsoft Lumia device to the computer.
Then open command prompt in administrator mode.
Now, copy and paste this command below.

For 32Bit Windows OS Architecture.

cd "%ProgramFiles%Microsoft Care SuiteWindows Device Recovery Tool"

For 64Bit Windows OS Architecture.

cd "%ProgramFiles(x86)%Microsoft Care SuiteWindows Device Recovery Tool"

Then, Copy and modify the

thor2 -mode vpl -vplfile "%HomePath%DesktopPackagex.vpl" command, where x is the name of the VPL file previously downloaded.

Once the modify is done, now copy and paste your modify command to the command prompt.
Then press Enter button on computer keyboard.
Now, the installation package is started, just wait until finished.
Then, Copy and paste the thor2 -mode rnd -bootnormalmode command to the command prompt to reboot your Microsoft Lumia device normaly.

How To Fix Nokia Lumia Headphone Jack Problems Like One side Only Low Volume etc

Last week my friend bought Nokia Lumia 625. The phone is amazing in looks and build quality. It has a great spec for the price tag expect the 512 MB RAM and the lack of NFC and magnetic sensor. It could be better if it has a 1 GB RAM as some of the games in the windows app store are optimized only for 1 GB RAM only. Even it has 512 MB RAM there is no hang or lag issues that we are facing in the low end Android mobiles.

After using 3 days he faced a problem with the headphone jack. In headphone the sound was only coming in one side. The same headphone tested with galaxy S3 and worked fine. We tried using S3 headset, but no luck. According to Google search results the headphone problem is a common issue in almost all Lumia phones mostly in 520,620,625,720,820,920 etc. Finally, I found a simple and working solution commented by MaulerX at WP Central forum.

- Restart the Phone

Thats It....Tested and Works Fine in Lumia 625.

I am proud to announce the immediate availability of Windows Phone Internals 1.0. This tool allows you to unlock the bootloader of selected Lumia Windows Phone models. After unlocking the bootloader, you can enable Root Access on the phone or create and flash Custom ROMs. I created two videos to demonstrate the features of the tool.

Root Access allows you to load your own homebrew software onto the phone with high privileges. Apps can escape from their sandboxes. The tool can also create backup-images of the phone and access the file-system in Mass Storage mode. The tool supports most versions of Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile. For a complete list of supported phones and Operating Systems have a look at the Getting Started section of the tool.

The download package also contains an SDK, which helps you to easily access the filesystem and registry on the phone from your own homebrew app.

ANSWER: NO

This is JAILBREAK + TOTAL ROOT ACCESS... Just like iOS or Android, Jailbreak or ROOT ACCESS does not Sim UNLOCK the Phone.

Reset / Factory Reset MICROSOFT LUMIA 550
Then release all button when you see exclamation sign on screen.

Now press the button in this order ;

Volume UP Button.
Volume Down Button.
Power Button.
Volume Down Button. (long press on this button)

And you will see a Microsoft Logo appear on screen.

Now, wait until the hard reset or factory reset ends, and the MICROSOFT LUMIA 550 will reboot. it will take a while.
Then your MICROSOFT LUMIA 550 will boot up automatically.
Now you must set up your device for the first time.
