How to boost your PC performance


1. Kill most of the unnecessary auto start applications.
2. Uninstall any Adware/Malware/ unlicensed applications.
3. Use an anti virus software always. Keep the virus definitions up-to-date.
4. Check for malicious software in program files.
5. Install additional RAM if possible.


1. Kill most of the unnecessary auto start applications.

Many of the installed softwares like Skype, Google Drive and iTunes... starts up right after the OS boot. It really impacts the boot time and PC performance.Better to keep low burden on processor. All these startup apps can be managed in Task Manager, or you can run "msconfig" command in "run" and follow instructions..


2. Uninstall any Adware/Malware/ unlicensed applications.

  When you browse the internet you click on too many unknown malicious links which may end up your system with loads of adware. So to keep your system clean, check your installed programs everyday and uninstall unnecessary applications.

3. Use an anti virus software always. Keep the virus definitions up-to-date.

  Your PC definitely need a protector, and an anti virus software can protect your PC from most of the threats. Do not just depend on Windows Defender. There too many options available in market, find a better one for your PC. And remember one thing always update virus definitions. 

4. Check for malicious software in program files.

  Some installed programmed may not show up in program manager in control panel. So once in a while check in "Program Files" or "Program File(x86)" for malicious programs. 


5. Install additional RAM if possible.

  Memory got very cheap now a days. On average 2Gb of RAM costs around just 10$. If your PC supports upto 16Gb, just do it. The best thing of upgrading RAM is you can easily install it yourself.
