How to Set Password on HTC One X One X

More and more users have been aware of the significance of setting a password to protect the data in their HTC One X/One X+ phones, but not all of them know the practical method to create password. Hence, this post will list the concrete steps in detail.

Step 1: Open Settings.

Step 2: Get into Security.

Step 3: Choose Screen lock to go on.

Step 4: Select Password in the list.

Step 5: Enter a password and touch CONTINUE when done.

Tip: Make sure it is formed by at least 4 characters, including one letter at least.

Step 6: Re-type the password and click OK.

After these six procedures, the password has been set successfully. In addition, suppose you want the password to be invisible when you input it to unlock your phone, you can clear the selection of Make passwords visible in the Security interface.
