GIGABYTE Goodbye 2014 OC Challenge

This is it guys, the last OC competition of 2014!  So get ready, tune your GIGBAYTE Z97 motherboards and run for the best performance. Here are the details for this challenge. You can also visit the competition page on HWBOT for all the rules and tracking of all scores.

Contest Stages

Stage 1: XTU

• Highest score wins
• CPU Speed must be set at 4.5GHz (4497MHz to 4503MHz)
• Must submit before midnight on Sunday, December 21^st (following the UTC+08:00 time zone)

Stage 2: Highest CPUz

• Highest score wins
• Must submit before midnight on Sunday, December 28^th (following the UTC+08:00 time zone)

Stage 3: Super Pi 32m

• The target score is to be revealed on HWBOT on Monday, December 29^th
• Submission will be open for 24 hours on Sunday, January 4^th 2015 (following the UTC+08:00 time zone).

 

Contest Prizes

Stage 1 ~ 3

• 1^st place of each stage will receive a Z97X-SOC FORCE LN2 motherboard

Overall Challenge

• 1^st place: $1,000 USD
• 2^nd place: $600 USD
• 3^rd place: $400 USD

Lucky draw (To be held at the end of the competition)

• 3 randomly selected participants will receive an X99M-Gaming 5 motherboard

The GIGABYTE Goodbye 2014 OC Challenge will run from December 5^th 2014 until January 4^th 2015, midnight (UTC+08:00).

GIGABYTE Z97 Pentium AE Beat the Heat Challenge Winners

Last week was the end of the  GIGABYTE Z97 - Pentium AE Beat the Heat Challenge, an overclocking competition organized by GIGABYTE and hosted on www.hwbot.org. After verification of all submissions, we are happy to announce the winners!

This challenge was divided into 5 stages and invited the overclocking community to push the limits of the recently launched Intel Pentium AE processor on any GIGABYTE Z97 series motherboard.

Here Are Your Winter OC Challenge Winners!

Our Winter OC Challenge has wrapped up and the winners have been announced!

The Winter OC Challenge saw the worlds best overclockers compete for some serious hardware prizes: GIGABYTE Z170-X SOC Force motherboards for the category winners and a GIGABYTE Z170X Gaming G1 motherboard for the winner of the lucky draw.

GIGABYTE X99 Champion Challenge Winners!

It is a bit with some delay, but at last the winners for our last competition hosted on HWBOT.org are confirmed!!

We would like to congratulate Demac, FireKillerGR and Coldest for taking the top 3 positions by collecting the most points.

- #1: Demac with 193 points, wins $1,500 USD

- #2: FireKillerGR with 157 points, wins $800 USD

- #3: Coldest with 134 points, wins $500 USD

As for the lucky draw winners, we had 3 categories. One winner amongst the lowest scores, one winner amongst the submissions above 25 degree and one amongst the submissions bellow 25 degree. The winners are:
